Here are 3 quick steps to see if you can get your classes covered

1

Check Your Benefits

Insurance: Call the number on the back of your insurance card and directly ask a representative if your plan covers the cost of childbirth education.

Spending Account: Contact your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm class reimbursement and get details on required docs.

2

Purchase Your Class

Once you're good to go, grab the classes of your choosing from Childbirth Allies!

FAQs

What is an LMN (Letter of Medical Necessity) and how do I get one?

A letter of medical necessity (LMN) is a note from your healthcare provider explaining why you need a specific service, like a birth class!

If your insurance asks for one to process your reimbursement, just request it at your next prenatal visit.

Most providers are familiar with LMNs and might even have a template ready to go!

Can I pay for my birth class with my HSA/FSA card?

Possibly! It's best to call your plan administrator first to make sure you won't run into any issues later. They can guide you on whether you can use your card directly or if you need to go through the reimbursement process with an itemized receipt.
